ASDA together with Arla Foods is embarking on a milk roadshow across the country to highlight to customers the benefits of drinking the white stuff.

ASDA together with Arla Foods is embarking on a milk roadshow across the country to highlight to customers the benefits of drinking the white stuff.

The “closer, faster, fresher” roadshows are part of an integral milk campaign by Asda to raise awareness of the benefit of including dairy in your diet and highlighting the close relationship that Asda has with its dedicated Asda Farmer Partners.

Asda shoppers have the opportunity to meet local Asda Farmer Partners that produce milk for Asda stores and get their children involved in learning to milk a life sized cow and enter the “name the cow competition” to win cow themed prizes. Charmaine Biggin, dairy marketing manager for Arla Foods, said: “There are many public misconceptions surrounding the nutritional benefits of milk and the roadshow attempts to challenge those misconceptions and bring the public closer to the farming community by talking to our local dedicated dairy farmers who supply milk to Asda.”
