GROWING marketing and PR agency Horizonworks has increased its team and doubled turnover year on year in time for its third birthday.

The Newcastle-based firm, which now employs 10 people, has expanded its presence across the north of England by opening an office in Manchester.

The boutique agency provides an outsourced marketing service for its clients and works across a range of sectors but has a particular strength in the science, healthcare, technology and the professional service sectors.

Over the next six to 12 months Horizonworks aims to develop its client base, team and presence further in Manchester. It is also planning to recruit more staff in its headquarters in Newcastle.

Samantha Davidson, managing director and founder of Horizonworks, said: “We are very excited to be opening our new office at Manchester Science Park, which is internationally recognised.

“Choosing Manchester Science Park was an obvious choice for us since Horizonworks has a strong track record in the science and technology sectors. We’ve grown considerably over the last three years and are confident our presence in Manchester will provide a springboard for further growth. We are greatly looking forward to consolidating our relationships with our existing clients in the North West, working with new clients and also developing a strong team.”
