SPEAKERS from across the political spectrum have signed up to take part in next month’s Federation of Small Business’s (FSB) conference.

SPEAKERS from across the political spectrum have signed up to take part in next month’s Federation of Small Business’s (FSB) conference.

The group’s 39th annual conference – in Leicester from March 21 to 23 – will hear from business secretary Vince Cable MP, pictured, and environment, food and rural affairs secreetary Owen Paterson MP, and shadow business secretary Chuka Umunna MP.

More than 600 delegates are expected at the event, which will also feature surgery sessions where members can raise their concerns with small business minister Michael Fallon MP and shadow small business minister Toby Perkins MP. In addition, local MPs will appear on a Question Time-style panel.

John Walker, FSB national chairman, said: “I am pleased that we have such a strong line-up of political speakers at my last conference.

“With the event taking place just two days after the Budget, small firms will be keen to hear just what is being done to help them invest and grow. This will be the forum where they can hold their leaders to account."
