A HUSBAND and wife to be are hoping to grow their new business into one of the biggest names in personalised printing after purchasing a range of unique domain names.

Mark Galley set up Photo Stuff Ltd with his partner Louise Midgley after spotting a gap in the market for a digital photo business that makes everything from personalised satchels to personalised slippers.

The pair, who started the business after Mrs Midgley was made redundant as a web developer, are already considering moving their production into an industrial unit as they begin to outgrow their small shop in Monkseaton, North Tyneside.

They have also taken the step of purchasing a number of unique domain names to help increase their share of the market.

These domain names have since been turned into websites.

The pair, who are due to get married next year, are now aiming to achieve an initial turnover of £150,000, with the aim of increasing this to £1m by 2014 with the help of the new domain names.

The firm, which makes 70% of its income from personalised mugs, was entirely self-funded by the couple, who invested in five different printing machines.

Two more sites are now planned for personalised calendars and cards.
