A Northumberland author and businessman has shot to the top of the business bestseller lists with a new book about social media and business.
#BrandVandals by Stephen Waddington, co-written with Steve Earl, was published last week by Bloomsbury and explores how organisations are being called to account by consumers via social forms of media, and what they can do about it.
“Increasingly organisations are using their own web sites and social media to communicate with customers.
Increasingly customers want to answer back and those conversations aren’t always easy,” said Stephen, a European director of Ketchum PR and chairman of Newcastle’s Admiral PR.
He was nominated for the Journal’s North East Most Influential in Social Media list.
