A motoring firm has proved the driving force behind a mechanic’s plans to grow his empire.
The Newcastle team at www.whocanfixmycar.com helped Patrick Patel of Automotive Components Specialist in Enfield, London, expand his firm after growing his customer base online.
Patel worked for an Audi dealership in London for more than nine years, before setting up his own business in 2009. He struggled to gain momentum due to the difficult economic climate until he discovered whocanfixmycar.com on Twitter.
The site helps people post free job requests, get garage quotes and leave feedback about their experiences. After signing up for the site, Patel’s sales picked up and last year, he took on more than 100 jobs.
The sales helped Patel invest in a workshop and take on four staff.
