There is still time for the region’s biggest and brightest exports stars to enter the North East Exporters’ Awards 2015 – but they need to act fast.
The annual awards are held to shine a spotlight on the firms working hard to contribute to the North East and UK economy in the last 12 months, through overseas trade.
The event is a celebration of the strength and diversity of North East exporting – and is fast becoming a key event on the regional business calendar.
For a third year, the North East Chamber of Commerce is staging the event in association with The Journal and our sister paper on Teesside, the Gazette.
Last year entries nearly doubled on previous years. There were more than 80 pages of editorial coverage for the awards in both The Journal and The Gazette, raising the profile of export and ensuring that the Exporters’ Awards has as strong a profile as the North East Business Awards.
Companies that have boosted their exports over the last 12 months have until Friday to enter.
There are seven categories – and winners of each of the awards will be revealed at a prestigious dinner taking place on June 25 at Ramside Hall Hotel, County Durham.
