Software firm durhamlane has strengthened its team with key appointments

Ambitious Newcastle firm durhamlane is gearing up for further expansion and demand for its services with two senior appointments.

The company’s push for growth in the south of England and London is being led by new associate partner Mark Taylor, who joins from global information technology company HP.

He will be drawing on over 25 years’ experience in the software sector as he looks to secure new business, particularly on the back of durhamlane’s proprietary methodology ‘Selling at a Higher Level’ which covers outsourced sales, business development and consultancy work.

Working from durhamlane’s London office, a key priority will be to target new business and sales in London and along the M4 corridor (Reading and Newbury) from customers in the IT, software and technology looking for cost effective sales growth.

Also joining to support expansion will be new sales performance consultant Paul Hardcastle.

Based at the firm’s Windsor Terrace head office and with extensive sales management experience, he will be focused on new sales alongside delivering consultancy, training, coaching and business development work.

The appointments come as the firm – established in 2011 by directors Lee Durham and Richard Lane – targets sales of £1 million by the end of 2015. 

Managing partner Lee Durham said: “We are putting the foundations in place to take us forward.”
