Property firm KIS Lettings scoop national accolade

Judges praised KIS' commitment to innovation, highlighting how the firm has become the first lettings agency to abolish deposits

Property firm KIS Lettings have been named Letting Agent of the Year at the national Landlord and Letting Awards.

The awards – which took place in Coventry – recognise and reward excellence and commitment to raising standards in rented housing.

Judges praised KIS’ commitment to innovation, highlighting how the firm has become the first lettings agency to abolish deposits, as well as its use of custom-made software to boost efficiency and its landlord insurance policy.

The firm, which manages properties in Tyne and Wear, Durham, Northumberland and Hertfordshire from branches in Sunderland, South Shields, North Shields and Welwyn Garden City was founded by Ajay Jagota.
