A North East recruitment specialist has reached record turnover after securing a number of high profile clients.

First Class Technical Recruitment, a specialist industry employment practice, is poised to grow its workforce after more than doubling sales in the last 12 months with revenues at just over £500,000.

Over the course of the year the company, which has offices in Newcastle, Middlesbrough and Aberdeen, has entered into agreements with a number of significant national clients, including Crown Paints and Perenco, supporting the recruitment of skilled technical and engineering personnel.

The firm, which serves sectors including oil and gas, power, chemical and pharmaceuticals, has built its success on its team of experienced personnel that have extensive engineering knowledge and experience.

The company’s recent growth has enabled the business to create three brand new roles.

James Gill, director of First Class Technical Recruitment, said: “The market and technical knowledge of our team is seen as a real advantage by our clients when they are looking to recruit specialist and experienced engineers.

“Understanding the specific technical requirements of the role and the client’s plant operations ensures we can source candidates best suited for the position.”

“It is also always satisfying to be able to create employment within our own business and the growth we have achieved this year has led to the need for more experienced recruiters with engineering experience who can serve our growing client base.”
