A Newcastle based digital marketing agency is looking to grow in the ecommerce sector, after investing a six figure sum on a new product.

Geneva Digital Group has created software called G-Commerce to provide businesses with an attractive online store that effectively converts website visitors into sales, while improving the brand’s online presence and Search Engine Optimisation (SEO) rankings.

The company has been providing digital services such as web design and social media management to a number of large clients since launching in January 2012.

Creating the software took over a year of work under the guidance of online conversion expert Tom Fotheringham and leading UX designer Geoff Biskupek.

Geneva founder Tom Fotheringham said: “Our team have a great deal of experience designing, building and refining ecommerce websites, but only using other software platforms.

“So we decided to develop our own, using all the knowledge and experience we have gained from other available software and working with brands like Fortnum & Mason.

“We have handpicked the best ecommerce features and solved some of the most common issues, in order to offer clients a complete and affordable solution.”
