Five jobs have been created at Dalton Park retail site where cookware and kitchen appliance specialists Tefal have opened a 1,590sq ft store.

And relocating within Dalton Park is greetings cards retailer Hallmark, just three years after it took space there.

It has moved from its 1,522sq ft store to one significantly larger at 2,066sq ft, opposite BB’s coffee & muffins.

TOG 24 has also relocated and taken 50% more space.

These moves continue the good news story at Dalton Park where four more top brands joined the line-up in the first six months of this year – Suit Direct, The Beauty Outlet, ProCook and Grape Tree.

The retail site has received planning consent for phase two of its development, which includes a foodstore, multiplex cinema, restaurants, drive-thru, hotel, pub and petrol filling station.

The building project, which it is estimated will take 12 months, will be delivered by Bowmer & Kirkland Construction, which has a wealth of experience across retail, leisure, commercial and accommodation sectors.

A number of stores are in the process of preparing for the phase two launch by agreeing lease renewals and completing refurbishments.

Starbucks renewed and refurbished in 2013, Adidas carried out refurbishments and renewed their lease last October and Sports Direct and Thornton’s updated their store fascias last month – all demonstrating commitment to the outlet and retail success.

Dalton Park’s newest tenant, Tefal, has grown in size since its modest beginnings in France in 1954 when it launched a revolutionary non-stick pan.

It has become a world leader in innovative kitchen solutions with products available in more than 120 countries. Their range now includes cooking appliances, coffee machines, liquidisers, actifryers, food and drink preparation products, irons, plus a range of handy kitchen accessories.

Meanwhile, Hallmark has enjoyed phenomenal success since opening at Dalton Park in 2011.

The company, which originated in the US, now operates in more than 100 countries worldwide and offers a wide range of greetings cards for all occasions, gifts, keepsakes, ornaments and small toys.

The new store at Dalton Park will give Hallmark the opportunity to widen their product offer.
