Two technology firms have merged to create a new company offering streamlining services to small and medium-sized businesses across the North East and beyond.

Way 2 Communicate, telecommunications service providers, and Nomis Systems, an IT support company, will officially launch merged firm Adept Communications and Technology this Friday at their new offices in Newburn, Newcastle.

Bosses at the business, which aims to help companies to help clients to connect and communicate more effectively, and Chi Onwurah, Labour MP for Newcastle Central, will be at the launch.

Phil Pugh, sales director, said: “As business owners ourselves, we understand only too well the connectivity issues facing small and medium-sized enterprises and our aligned systems can help improve these.”

Chi Onwurah added: “Companies need to know how to take advantage of digital technology to grow their businesses and I’m pleased that Adept Communication and Technology will be helping provide the skills and support our businesses need.”
