Organisers of an event aimed at celebrating Northumberland’s female entrepreneurs are calling for businesswomen to share their skills with the region.

Fourth Action, a Belford-based social enterprise set up to support female enterprise, equality and education, is bringing together women in business on International Women’s Day on Saturday, March 8. It wants to hear from women entrepreneurs who want to run workshops to demonstrate and share skills or offer taster sessions during the Women Means Business event.

Julia Lyford from Fourth Action, said: “Northumberland really is a hotbed for female-owned businesses. We want to celebrate and support women across the county who have taken the plunge.”

To take part in the event, call 01668 219 879 or email julia@fourthaction.org.
