DESPITE the economic recession, here at hpm group we have enjoyed continued success during 2009 and have plenty to look forward to in 2010 having been successful in winning several major public sector contracts which will come into fruition in early January.
To cope with the continued loyalty of our valued customers teamed with our vision to grow and develop we have made several new appointments in marketing, client services and estimating.
Our success during 2009 has been down to a strong focus on strategy. Having invested heavily in lean manufacturing techniques, we have improved our productivity and competitiveness by embracing a number of supportive strategies to enable the company to move forward, employ additional resource and offer increased services.
Managing director Richard Mortimer said: “Our development in lean manufacturing has enabled us to embrace change and move forward in a time of economic recession. We have streamlined processes and workflow methods in order to become more cost efficient and competitive in a marketplace which has been struggling for some time. And we are already reaping the benefits!

2009 has seen hpm engage in market research and product development and during the latter part of the year the company has been working on introducing key new services.
As part of a trial, hpm has presented an online proofing and sign off facility, e-marketing campaign and a web-based shop, all of which have received praise from existing clients as they enable greater efficiency and cost effectiveness.
