An online event management business developed by two young entrepreneurs has been acquired by one of the UK’s biggest event publishing platforms.

EventSneaker brings together all of the promotional tools event managers would normally use to organise and market an event, adding a tracking code to measure the success of promotional messages.

The platform, which was developed by Sunderland University graduate Elliott Perry and entrepreneur Mark Stephenson, has attracted considerable interest since being launched last July and has now been taken over by international event publishing firm evvnt. As part of the deal, Perry and Stephenson will move into new roles in the event team.

Perry, 23, said: “After spending nine months building EventSneaker up from an idea into a rapidly growing business it feels like the right time to take the business to the next level. event have a significant volume of clients, having experienced explosive growth.”
