A businessman has launched a new IT solutions firm with ambitious plans to achieve £2m turnover within three years.
Peter Joynson and a team of experienced technology specialists have established Synergi Software Solutions, in Gateshead, with a view to attracting regional and national companies with a range of specially-designed business applications and Microsoft technologies.
Synergi also aim to tap into the growing opportunity for SMEs to access cloud-based software solutions, and the firm is now actively recruiting skilled technical and sales people who will drive forward their plans to reach £2m in sales by 2017.
While Synergi is a new force in the region, Peter Joynson and his team have more than 20 years of industry and technical knowledge and are well-known around the North East.
Joynson was a director and former managing director at leading IT support company TSG North East and prior to that he and his brother Mark ran the Team Valley-based financial software business, Joynson Ltd, which was acquired by TSG more than 10 years ago.
He is joined at Synergi by director David Kaye, who was also a former director at TSG Ltd where he held the posts of regional sales director and managing director of ERP. David Charlton also joins the team as a senior consultant.
He was previously at TSG and was a director at Joynson more than 10 years ago.
