Dinner is a challenge

The Universally Challenged Dinner at the Newcastle Gateshead Hilton, will see four teams competing in a quiz throughout the evening.

THE Construction Industry Council (CIC) North-East is hold to its annual dinner tonight, ahead of National Construction Week.

The Universally Challenged Dinner at the Newcastle Gateshead Hilton, will see four teams competing in a quiz throughout the evening. The event precedes National Construction Week, an annual initiative aimed at promoting the industry, from October 8 to 12.

The CIC North-East is the representative forum for the professional bodies, research organisations and specialist business associations within the construction industry. Its aim is to improve the design, development and regeneration of the built environment within the region.

John Burns, CIC North-East chairman, said: “The Universally Challenge theme, complete with Jeremy Paxman lookalike, will add some real fun to the occasion and we are looking forward to seeing many faces from the industry.”
