A Darlington home care specialist is embarking on a recruitment drive after opening a new office and launching a national franchise network.

Heritage Healthcare has a team of 25 staff delivering care to more than 60 clients in York and the surrounding area.

The company plans to increase these numbers “substantially” over the next 12 months after purchasing a new office in York and expanding its reach in the Yorkshire region.

Darlington-based Latimer Hinks Solicitors advised Heritage on its expansion plans, which also include the launch of a national franchise network.

Glenn Pickersgill, managing director of Heritage Healthcare, said: “The advice we received has helped us make these strategically significant investments and has guided us through the myriad of issues involved.

“The new premises suit our business needs much better, particularly as the York business grows.

“These allow us full control over our operation, including phone systems, broadband and services, which is important as we take on more staff and clients..”
