Consett business centre Perspective secures £25,000 loan

Consett business centre Perspective has secured a £25,000 loan from the Finance for Businiess Micoloan Fund to help growth

Consett business centre Perspective plans to grow with the help of a £25,000 loan from the Entrust-managed Finance for Business Microloan Fund.

Perspective provides a range of services from the Ponds Court Business Park Innovation Centre, ranging from conference room space to hot-desking, telephone answering and a virtual office address.

Client numbers have grown from one a year ago to 45 today.

Perspective initially leased a section of the Innovation Centre for a year but in November, it took on a further three-year lease and moved all its space into one section of the building.

The £25,000 loan will be used for capital costs such as rent and additional desks.

Managing director Fran Williams said: “Within this geographical area, our offering is quite different. You don’t get this sort of thing in a rural community. Hopefully, we have identified a need that’s there.”
