A could computing company on track to double its turnover to £3.5m this year is strengthening its links with Scotland through an event aimed at some of the country’s leading businesses.
In the past 12 months, SITS Group, which works with both private and public sector clients across the UK, has secured a significant commercial foothold north of the border.
Yesterday, the Newcastle company hosted a free presentation in Aberdeen to give business leaders in the city an in-depth guide to all it provides.
SITS Group, named VMware Small Business Partner of the Year for 2013, already offers services such as virtual desktop and server consolidation, cloud management and disaster recovery to some of the offshore oil and gas industry’s biggest names.
Its existing Scottish clients include Divex and RMS Pumptools, subsidiaries of the James Fisher Group PLC.
SITS commercial director Phil Cambers said: “Scotland is proving to be a highly successful market for us and we are building up a very strong track record of delivering solutions to a wide variety of companies, particularly in Aberdeen.
“Despite its distance from the North East of England, Aberdeen is very accessible and we have found that companies there are making considerable investments in their IT infrastructure.”
