The company, which operates globally, has bought premises on Prudhoe Terrace, which were at one time occupied by irreverent comic magazine Viz.
Joint managing partners Karen Lee and Maurice Duffy are keen that the move creates a better work-life balance for staff through bringing them from city centre to seaside town.
Duffy said: “We hope that staff take advantage of our new location. They will have the coast on their door step and we will even be putting shower facilities into the offices so that they can participate in fun activities like surfing.”
Alan Campbell MP, who attended the official opening of the premises, said: “It’s great for a global business like Blackswan to bring their business and expertise to the area, let’s hope more businesses follow suit raising the profile of Tynemouth further.”
