Business advisors Baker Tilly have rebranded all of the former RSM Tenon offices, including those in Yorkshire and the North East, after acquiring the rival firm.

Baker Tilly acquired all the trading operations of RSM Tenon, which has offices in Sunderland, and the newly merged firm will have more than 450 partners and staff across the region.

The merged firms make Baker Tilly the seventh largest accountancy firm in the UK, with annual revenues of £350m, and over 4,000 partners and staff working across more than 50 offices.

Kevin O’Connor, regional managing partner for Yorkshire and the North East said: “The merger brings together the skills, strengths and expertise of both firms and increases Baker Tilly’s presence in the region.

“It will make us a truly major player in this part of the country.

“This will allow us to further expand and strengthen our offering to the market, while continuing to provide the local service.”
