TV's Apprentice star Neil Clough has been signed to speak at a free networking event in the region.
Neil, bookies’ favourite to win the popular BBC show, will be appearing at North East Expo at Newcastle Falcon’s rugby stadium in November.
His lively speaking session is entitled Apprenticed to the Future, during which he will talk about his motivation and what he learned about business and people while on The Apprentice.
Clough, who impressed Lord Sugar with his performance throughout the series, failed to make the final of the programme after a tough grilling over his idea for a new property website.
Sugar dubbed him the right man with the wrong plan but said if he’d been looking for a job candidate he’d give him a job tomorrow.
Marc Gordon of Durham-based Exposure Events, said: “We were delighted to sign up Neil who we are confident will inspire and motivate visitors to North East Expo.
“Neil is described as focused, determined and driven by those that know him well, though his weaknesses were described as being overly competitive and very opinionated. I think it’s fairly safe to say that the session will be one of our most popular and lively ever.”
