The Newcastle office of national commercial property consultancy Lambert Smith Hampton has expanded its team with David Gray.

Gray joins as senior surveyor and will specialise in lease advisory matters and valuations across all sectors.

He brings six years of experience to the role having worked in various sectors and locations and has moved back to the area from a surveying firm in Sheffield where he specialised in lease advisory and valuations for healthcare-related properties.

He previously worked in the North East as an asset manager for industrial properties across the region. Throughout his career, he has also acquired broad experience in the office and retail markets as well as spending time working in South Korea.

Darron Barker, head of Lambert Smith Hampton’s Newcastle office, said: “As we move out of the recession, David’s appointment is one of the first we have made as part of our ambitious development plans. We are very pleased to have him on board and he is already making a significant contribution to the team.”
