An insurance broker headquartered on Tyneside has strengthened its board with four new appointments.

Lycetts Insurance Brokers and Financial Services, which has 12 offices nationwide and its headquarters in Newcastle, has appointed Simon Landale, William Nicholl, Colin Sadler and Charles Foster to the board.

Landale is a chartered financial planner based in the Newcastle office with particular emphasis on inheritance tax and pension planning as well as investment management, while Nicholl, also based in Newcastle, specialises in farm and estate insurance and also runs the agricultural fleet arrangements for the whole company.

Sadler is also chartered and is a practitioner in the commercial division and Foster, who runs the Fakenham office in Norfolk, specialises in farm and estate insurance as well as being in charge of the small animal trades business, Cliverton.

The firm said all four had been brought into the higher positions to drive the business forward.
