DICKINSON Dees merger partner Bond Pearce has announced the recruitment of four partners to its oil and gas and real estate departments.
The move comes just days after the announcement that Dickinson Dees will merge with Bond Pearce from May 1, 2013, to create Bond Dickinson, a £95m business with more than 1,200 staff across eight UK locations.
The four new partners, Uisdean Vass, Richard Cockburn, Gordon Hobkirk and Fraser Leslie, will join from Maclay Murray & Spens in Aberdeen.
Uisdean Vass will work with the oil and gas team in Aberdeen, Richard Cockburn will specialise in offshore wind and oil and gas, Gordon Hobkirk will provide corporate advice, while real estate partner Fraser Leslie will advise rural landowning clients as well as national and international clients in the oil & gas sector.
Jonathan Blair, managing partner designate at Bond Dickinson said: “These appointments are a significant step in our combined strategy to invest in and grow our businesses. The appointments will expand the oil and gas expertise at Bond Pearce.
“They will also provide the new firm, Bond Dickinson, with an excellent platform for continued growth in the wider energy sector, while also adding banking expertise to the Aberdeen office.”
