Hexham & Northern Marts held the last of six special October sales for store cattle and suckled calves and had forward an entry of 504 head. Once more a wonderful trade was experienced for all classes with yet again a tremendous show of quality on offer. Despite a smaller show demand was a great as seen earlier in the month with no fewer than 85 of the entry exceeding the £1000 threshold.
