Samuel Boulton, from Heaton, Newcastle, has joined the 15-strong team at Tiger Hornsby, Close, Quayside, following his appointment as commercial manager.

The 22-year-old formerly worked at Newcastle-based Brewhub and will be tasked with driving efficiencies on stock and business overheads and creating value propositions for the popular nightspot’s customers. He will also be identifying new business opportunities for Tiger Hornsby, which opened in September.

Also new to the staff is Rhea Goulding, 23, who will take on the position of operations manager. Rhea, from Monkseaton, brings seven years’ experience of the bar and leisure industry to the role and will be responsible for much of the day-to-day running of the bar, which is owned by Newcastle-based entrepreneur Rachael Frame.

Rachael said: “Rhea and Sam both bring to their roles an unbeatable combination of ardent commercial planning, strategic operational acumen and fantastic people management within busy and competitive on-trade environments,” said Rachael.

“They have seamlessly slotted into the team at Tiger Hornsby and are already proving popular with customers and staff alike. It’s great to have them on board.”
