To meet local demand for information about its new Kingsbrook Wood property development in Middlesbrough, Story Homes has drafted in an expert adviser to help.

More than 100 people recently attended an exclusive launch for the development of 126 three and four-bedroom houses at Stainsby Hall Farm, near Acklam. Since then Story Homes has been inundated with inquiries from potential customers, eager to snap up one of the properties being built.

To help meet the demand, ANNE AMBLER has joined the Story Homes team as a sales adviser for the site, working five days a week to ensure that inquiries are answered swiftly.

Anne, 59, has been in the property industry for more than 22 years and currently lives in Darlington. She has previously worked for major home builders up and down the country, as far north as Northumberland and as far south as Kent and London.

Anne said: “I was keen to come and work for Story Homes as the company is really growing and expanding in the North East. Safety, quality and customer care are all really important to Story Homes, which is fantastic.

“Story Homes was recently awarded the HBF five-star customer care award, which shows they really care about their customers.”

It is estimated that building Kingsbrook Wood will bring £10m to the regional economy through use of local workers and suppliers. The site is the second project in the North East for Story Homes, which also has developments in Cumbria, Lancashire and Scotland.

Anne is impressed by the after-care service that the company provides to people buying a new home; “It gives so much reassurance to a buyer,” she said.

“Story Homes only builds in the best locations and the company really takes the time to find the right mix of homes and use the best materials and designs to create communities.”

When complete, Kingsbrook Wood will feel like a village, but will also have excellent access to the A19 for commuters and great amenities thanks to Middlesbrough town centre being nearby.

“There is also the coast not too far away which means that you have the best of both worlds,” said Anne.

“With such high quality and a high specification, I think that customers will be happy to pay that little bit extra to buy their dream Story Home.”
