Niche law firm McDaniel and Co, based in Jesmond, Newcastle, and specialising in intellectual property (IP) matters, has strengthened its specialist team with a key appointment.
Lucy Johnson, who qualified as a UK and European trade mark attorney in March 2012, has been appointed trade mark agent.
She is experienced across a wide range of trade mark matters including clearance searches, filing and prosecution of UK, community trade marks, foreign and Madrid trade mark applications, trade mark opposition and cancellation actions as well as settlement negotiations, agreements and trade mark assignments.
Before joining McDaniel & Co she worked for a firm of patent and trade mark attorneys for almost eight years.
