A bespoke software development firm based in North Shields has expanded its growing team with the appointment of a new marketing assistant.
Jeremy Mountain, a public relations graduate from the University of Sunderland, has joined Wolf Group in a role that will see him develop the IT firm’s marketing strategy and assist in defining Wolf Group as a brand.
The 22-year-old from Newcastle said: “I’m pleased to be joining a consultancy with such a diverse range of regional, national and international clients and can’t wait to begin exploring a number of different avenues we have for marketing activity.”
Jeremy has a strong background in business-to-business PR and marketing in sectors such as energy, technology and health and social care.
He added: “Working within the IT sector will certainly be a learning curb but I’m looking forward to the opportunity for continued personal and professional development.”
The marketing position, part-funded by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF), comes during a year of continued growth for the IT consultancy thanks to renewed economic confidence among the North East’s business community.
Managing director of the Wolf Group, Marc Fowler, said: “As a constantly-growing business it’s crucial that we source young talent from the region in order to bring energy, enthusiasm and ideas into our already-experienced team.
“Jeremy will be a major asset to the company as we press ahead with further plans for growth and expansion.”
Over the years the IT firm’s client base has included financial services company Citibank, automotive systems manufacturer TRW and utilities firm Northumbrian Water.
Wolf Group, which celebrated its 15th birthday last year, provide bespoke software solutions and IT consultancy services to its clients across the UK.
