Lizzie Withington joins Gospelware following the successful acquisition of the online assessment company Test Factory, where she was head of corporate solutions.
Lizzie will be responsible for sourcing clients, handling general internal operations and nurturing the company’s culture. As Gospelware gears its focus toward sectors that include healthcare, education and fitness, Lizzie will be developing new partnerships as well as becoming involved in existing relationships.
Test Factory delivers customised online assessments, and has clients all over the world, such as Microsoft, HSBC, M&S, Johnson & Johnson, and Oxford & Cambridge University. Lizzie’s experience makes her a pivotal new source for Gospelware within its business development strategies.
Gospelware, which is settling into its new office in the centre of Newcastle, hired Lizzie following the realisation of her potential to add high value to its already dynamically skilled team.
Ryan Davies, co-founder of Gospelware, said: “Hiring Lizzie was an easy choice for us, as she brings with her a wealth of knowledge and experience in technology sales and a track record with strategic partnerships.
“Lizzie is also a fantastic organisation coach and a great addition to our team. Myself, fellow co-founder Michael Dunn and the team here are excited to be working alongside Lizzie.”
As the team continues to expand with further recruitment aims for the rest of the year, the digital agency, which specialises in apps for mobile and web, recognised the need for an operations person to support its growth plans.
Following its win of the largest digital healthcare account in the region last year, the rapidly-growing SME is also working with wearables and connected devices, using creative software solutions and design to bring technology to life.
As part of the founding team, Lizzie played a large part in the growth of Test Factory until its successful acquisition last September.
She has particular expertise in coaching companies on internal structural development, which comes from her background of freelancing in consultancy. From recruitment and retention to strategy and performance, she joins Gospelware with a wealth of business knowledge.
Lizzie said: “What attracted me to the opportunity was the fantastic growth the business has experienced, and the customers that they attract, with their approach to addressing business challenges through technical innovation.
“I’m inspired by the ambition of Michael and Ryan, and looking forward to having an impact as their journey to further growth continues. Its a brilliant team full of passionate and fun people and I’m already proud to call this my new home.”
