Chase de Vere, the national firm of independent financial advisers which has an office in Newcastle, has appointed Katrina Timm into the newly-created role of operations and IT director.
Katrina has 26 years’ experience in financial services and a proven record in business transformation gained from involvement in mergers, acquisitions and outsourcing opportunities. This was achieved by enabling operational excellence as a result of leveraging IT solutions and embedding efficient processes.
She has worked for a range of companies including the largest estate agency group in the UK, life assurance providers and most recently the Co-operative Bank where she led a large-scale multi-site operation.
At Chase de Vere, Katrina will have executive oversight for operations, IT and change, and is also leading the programme to design, develop and implement an operating model that achieves the company’s longer term strategy for scalable growth.
Away from work she enjoys scuba diving, sailing, mountaineering and outdoor activities generally.
