Kate Proctor is a senior news reporter covering a range of issues and also reports from the areas of North Tyneside and Heaton and Jesmond in Newcastle. She has been nominated twice in the Regional Press Awards in 2012 and 2013 for features written for the Journal. She joined us in 2012.
