Bellingham is a village in Northumberland and is situated on the Hareshaw burn junction with the River Tyne. The village is a famous stopping point on the Pennine Way trail and is popular with walkers and cyclists. It is home to the Grade-I listed St Cuthbert's Church and its own museum, The Heritage Centre which houses a range of exhibitions.
Timothy Brownbridge, of Bellingham, has been awarded the Fellowship of the Institution of Civil Engineers (ICE), the highest grade of membership at the organisation and a benchmark for those practising within the field
Brian was appointed Editor of The Journal in December 2003, joining from Trinity Mirror's Liverpool base where he was Editorial Development Manager for the company's regional titles. He has also held senior positions at the Daily Record and the Evening Express, Aberdeen, as well as being a former Editor of the Lincolnshire Echo.
